Ahnentafel for Esther Launa (Munro) Cooper

The first three generations are based on my own research, as are all the entries for the Munro side of the family. The rest was taken from an Ahnentafel for Esther Munro created by Clint Dillon. There are still a lot of gaps, but I'm gradually piecing the picture together and filling in the holes.


Generation 1


  1. Esther Launa Munro (SSN 315-48-6949) was born 2 Feb 1900 in Piper City, Ford County, Illinois, and died 15 Dec 1997 Muncie, Delaware Co. Indiana. She was the daughter of 2. Asa C. Munro and 3. Edith E. Dillon. She married Dr. Robert H. Cooper of Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana. Dr. Cooper died sometime after 1960.

  1. Asa C. Munro was born 14 Jan 1865 La Salle County, Illinois. His father was 4. Warren Carver Munro, who was born 29 Oct 1834 near Seekonk, Bristol County, Massachusetts and died 19 Sep 1889. His mother was 5. Emma Pearson, who was born near Dayton.

  2. Edith E. Dillon was born on 22 Jan 1870. She was the daughter of 6. Edwin Dillon and 7. Elizabeth Wakefield.


Generation 3


  1. Warren Carver Munro was born 29 Oct 1834 near Seekonk, Bristol County, Massachusetts and died 19 Sep 1889. He was the son of 8. Joseph Munro and 9. Olive Brown.

  2. Emma/Elma Pearson was born abt 1838 near Dayton Ohio.

  1. Edwin Dillon was born 19 Oct 1839 in Tazewell County, Illinois, and died 4 May 1908. He was the son of 12. Daniel Dillon III and 13. Ruth Hoskins.

  2. Elizabeth Wakefield was born 1835 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Her parents were 14. James Wakefield and 15. Martha Clark.

  1. Joseph Munro was born 23 Aug 1784 in Massachusetts. He was the son of 16. Joseph Munro and 17. Sarah Bastow.

  2. Olive Brown was born 6 Dec 1798 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of 18. Aaron Brown, who was born 1772, and 19. Nancy Wilmarth, who was born 1776.

  4. Ruth Hoskins was born 19 Jun 1806 in New Garden, Guilford County, North Carolina, and died 7 Oct 1855 in Tazewell County, Illinois. She was buried in Dillon Cemetery, Tazewell County, Illinois. She was the daughter of 26. Moses Hoskins and 27. Ruth Hodgson.
  1. James Wakefield was born 11 May 1806 in Brush Valley, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He died 23 Apr 1850 in Tazewell, Illinois. He is the son of 28. Robert Wakefield and 29. Mary Wakefield.

  2. Martha Clark/Clarke was born 27 Dec 1808 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. She died before Nov 1840 in Pennsylvania.
