Kind friend,--

Possibly you will be a little surprised to get this letter from me.

But as your folks are quarentined in for scarlet fever they didn't dare send any mail.

Warren had the scarlet fever. He took sick Thursday evening. He hasn't been very bad yet. His fever was one hundred four a little while one day. But were than that he is doing fine.

our mamma said for me to tell you to write to them quite often. She said tell you not to worry. That if he gets serious they will telegraf you. We had a nice S.S. to-day. But your class wasn't as large as it was last sunday. Harriet French acted as secretary.

Respectfully yours
Mrs. Forest Shoemaker.
